How do I choose the correct ski length for ski mountaineering?
For ski mountaineering, we generally recommend choosing a ski length that reaches between your chin and nose. Shorter skis offer better maneuverability in tight technical terrain and are lighter for the ascent, while longer skis provide more stability at high speeds.
What is the shipping timeframe for HAGAN equipment?
Standard orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Domestic shipping typically takes 3-5 business days, while international delivery times vary by location, generally arriving within 7-14 business days.
Do you offer a warranty on your skis and bindings?
Yes, all HAGAN products come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, rock damage, or improper mounting by non-certified technicians.
What is your return policy for unused gear?
We accept returns on unused, unmounted items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please note that skis that have been drilled for binding installation are considered custom and are not eligible for return.
Are HAGAN skins pre-cut for specific ski models?
Yes, we offer custom-fit climbing skins specifically tailored to each HAGAN ski model and length, ensuring perfect edge-to-edge coverage and optimal glide-to-grip ratios right out of the box.
Can I use HAGAN bindings with any brand of touring boots?
HAGAN tech bindings are compatible with all touring boots that feature certified 'Tech' or 'Pin' inserts. They are not compatible with standard alpine (ISO 5355) or GripWalk boots without the necessary metal inserts.
